How does solosafe's GPS feature work?

solosafe's GPS feature updates solosafe's location every 30 seconds, providing accurate and up-to-date information to the monitoring centre. This ensures that appropriate assistance can be dispatched as quickly as possible.

Is solosafe monitored 24/7?

Yes, solosafe is monitored 24/7 by trained professionals, who are ready to respond to any situation.

How are request for assistance and duress events responded to by the operators?

The client must nominate if the device will be used for general requests for assistance or specifically for duress situations.

What is an example of a response for a 'Request for Assistance' event

The operator will call the solosafe device and discuss the required response with the user. Should the user be unable to answer the call, the operator will follow the clients’ agreed protocols. Contact a career, family member or neighbour.

What is an example of a response for a 'Duress' event

The operator will silently engage the device communication and listen to what is occurring onsite. Should the event present as a duress situation, the operator will escalate based on the agreed protocols provided by the client. This may include contacting a fellow staff member, relative or the Police.

  • Option 2: No upfront charge for the solosafe device and $35 per month for monitoring (12-month minimum)
